People in different cultures consume a variety of foods to meet their lifestyle needs. The environment you live in will impact the kind of nutrients you need to stay energized and healthy. For example, Alaskan Eskimos have a diet rich in fat-soluble foods, such as animal tissue, to keep them warm and sustained in their cold climate. Amazon Indians, on the other hand, need very little fat-soluble nutrients because their warmer environment does not take as much energy. You will see distinct diets across cultural locations.
