Robert Greene, M.D. is the medical director of the Sher Institute for Reproductive Medicine of Northern California. He is board certified by the both American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and the ABOG Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility. Dr. Greene is also a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
He received a bachelor’s degree and subsequent medical degree from Ohio State University and completed an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Louisville-Humana Hospital. He immediately completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)-Harbor Medical Center.
He is a sought after lecturer for healthcare practitioners, from OB/GYN’s and Family Practice Providers to Neurologists and Psychiatrists on subjects ranging from hormonal influences on brain blood flow, sexual dysfunction, postpartum depression, chronic pelvic pain, migraine headaches and epilepsy. He is an ad hoc reviewer for Obstetrics and Gynecology, The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism and The Journal of Reproductive Medicine, focusing primarily on studies involving the hormone-brain relationship and is member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
Dr. Greene has published numerous articles in the medical/scientific literature. He has also appeared onNBC’s news magazine “Dateline,” and in the pages of Self, Glamour, Life Extension Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Body and Soul Magazine and the books “Women In Overdrive” by Nora Isaacs and “Menopause and the Mind” by Claire Warga.
